From a Christian woman (May Allah guide her)

This is a beautiful reminder that we should be so thankful for Islam and to never water down our religion or our standards and values as a Muslim woman. We strive so hard to be like the kafirs of today's society yet they secretly want to be like us and they are crying from unhappiness because they do not have the gift of life, the gift of Islam . Please take a moment to read this beautiful piece that was forwarded to me by a dear friend and take a minute to reflect and ponder upon your life as a Muslim woman and know what true freedom is and how Allah blessed us with it! Alhamdulillah . May Allah guide this woman to the beautiful truth and to allow her to taste the beauty of Islam !!!

Between the Israeli assault on Lebanon and the Zionist "war on terror," the Muslimworld is now center stage in every American home. I see the carnage, death and destruction that have befallen Lebanon, but I also see something else: I see you. I can’t help but notice that almost every woman I see is carrying a baby or has children around her. I see that though they are dressed modestly, their beauty still shines through. But it’s not just outer beauty that I notice. I also notice that I feel something strange inside me: I feel envy. I feel terrible for the horrible experiences and war crimes that the Lebanese people have suffered, being targeted by our common enemy. But I can’t help but admire your strength, your beauty, your modesty, and most of all, your happiness. Yes, it’s strange, but it occurred to me that even under constant bombardment, you still seemed happier than we are, because you were still living the natural lives of women. The way women have always lived since the beginning of time. It used to be that way in the West until the 1960s, when we were bombarded by the same enemy. Only we were not bombarded with actual munitions, but with subtle trickery and moral corruption.

Through Temptation

They bombarded us Americans from Hollywood, instead of from fighter jets or with our own American-made tanks. They would like to bomb you in this way too, after they’ve finished bombing the infrastructure of your countries. I do not want this to happen to you. You will feel degraded, just like we do. You can avoid this kind of bombing if you will kindly listen to those of us who have already suffered serious casualties from their evil influence. Because everything you see coming out of Hollywood is a pack of lies, a distortion of reality, smoke and mirrors. They present casual sex as harmless recreation because they aim to destroy the moral fabric of the societies into which they beam their poisonous programming. I beg you not to drink their poison. There is no antidote for it once you have consumed it. You may recover partially, but you will never be the same. Better to avoid the poison altogether than to try to heal from the damage it causes.

They will try to tempt you with their titillating movies and music videos, falsely portraying us American women as happy and satisfied, proud of dressing like prostitutes, and content without families. Most of us are not happy, trust me. Millions of us are on anti-depressant medication, hate our jobs, and cry at night over the men who told us they loved us, then greedily used us and walked away. They would like to destroy your families and convince you to have fewer children. They do this by presenting marriage as a form of slavery, motherhood as a curse, and being modest and pure as old-fashioned. They want you to cheapen yourself and lose your faith. They are like the Serpent tempting Eve with the apple. Don’t bite.

Self-Value

I see you as precious gems, pure gold, or the "pearl of great value" spoken of in

the Bible (Matthew 13: 45). All women are pearls of great value, but some of us have been deceived into doubting the value of our purity. Jesus said: "Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you" (Matthew 7: 6). Our pearls are priceless, but they convince us that they’re cheap. But trust me; there is no substitute for being able to look in the mirror and seeing purity, innocence and self-respect staring back at you. The fashions coming out of the Western sewer are designed to make you believe that your most valuable asset is your sexuality. But your beautiful dresses and veils are actually sexier than any Western fashion, because they cloak you in mystery and show self-respect and confidence. A woman’s sexuality should be guarded from unworthy eyes, since it should be your gift to the man who loves and respects you enough to marry you. And since y
our men are still manly warriors, they deserve no less than your best. Our men don’t even want purity anymore. They don’t recognize the pearl of great value, opting for the flashy rhinestone instead. Only to leave her too!

Your most valuable assets are your inner beauty, your innocence, and everything that makes you who you are. But I notice that some Muslim women push the limit and try to be as Western as possible, even while wearing a veil (with some of their hair showing). Why imitate women who already regret, or will soon regret, their lost virtue? There is no compensation for that loss. You are flawless diamonds. Don’t let them trick you into becoming rhinestones. Because everything you see in the fashion magazines and on Western television is a lie. It is Satan’s trap. It is fool’s gold.

A Woman’s Heart

I’ll let you in on a little secret, just in case you’re curious: pre-marital sex is not even that great. We gave our bodies to the men we were in love with, believing that that was the way to make them love us and want to marry us, just as we had seen on television growing up. But without the security of marriage and the sure knowledge that he will always stay with us, it’s not even enjoyable! That’s the irony. It was just a waste. It leaves you in tears. Speaking as one woman to another, I believe that you understand that already. Because only a woman can truly understand what’s in another woman’s heart. We really are all alike. Our race, religion or nationalities do not matter. A woman’s heart is the same everywhere. We love. That’s what we do best. We nurture our families and give comfort and strength to the men we love. But we American women have been fooled into believing that we are happiest having careers, our own homes in which to live alone, and freedom to give our love away to whomever we choose. That is not freedom. And that is not love. Only in the safe haven of marriage can a woman’s body and heart be safe to love. Don’t settle for anything less. It’s not worth it. You won’t even like it and you’ll like yourself even less afterwards. Then he’ll leave you.

Self-Denial

Sin never pays. It always cheats you. Even though I have reclaimed my honor, there’s still no substitute for having never been dishonored in the first place. We Western women have been brainwashed into thinking that you Muslim women are oppressed. But truly, we are the ones who are oppressed; slaves to fashions that degrade us, obsessed with our weight, begging for love from men who do not want to grow up. Deep down inside, we know that we have been cheated. We secretly admire and envy you, although some of us will not admit it. Please do not look down on us or think that we like things the way they are. It’s not our fault. Most of us did not have fathers to protect us when we were young because our families have been destroyed. You know who is behind this plot. Don’t be fooled, my sisters. Don’t let them get you too. Stay innocent and pure. We Christian women need to see what life is really supposed to be like for women. We need you to set the example for us, because we are lost. Hold onto your purity. Remember: you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube. So guard your "toothpaste" carefully!
I hope you receive this advice in the spirit in which it is intended: the spirit of friendship, respect, and admiration. From your Christian sister – with love…

MY NIQAB: MY NEW IDENTITY

'For some, it was just a Niqab. For me it was a reminder to skip the pleasures of this world, because Jannah is just far more tempting.'

GUEST POST BY SISTER TAWHIDA

I'm a 16 year old Asian Muslim girl, and my journey to wearing a Niqab was very spiritual, and forever memorable. :) I was living in America, and ever since just the age of 7, I always prayed 5 times a day and was good, but we all know how it's like these days.. Being the 'modern Muslim' is acceptable. I wore a Hijab with shirts and jeans from age 8 to age 11. And then seeing my sisters wearing the Abaya to school and all, I began wearing too, but only to school. I'd wear our traditional dress with no Hijab at all everywhere else. But then certain circumstances had us moving back to our home country, and that's when my journey started.

In the beginning, I was just enjoying the new country, no Abaya to be seen, and a simple scarf placed on my head... lol not even wrapped. But anyway, this was going on for a year. After that I decided to wear full on Hijab, but sadly I would end up styling it, as it was a normal thing to do. The Abaya was on and off, as I went

to school and had to wear a uniform. But I would wear it wherever it would be 'suitable' like shopping. This went on for another 2 years.

But then I got tired of all this... It would take hours dressing up. And take the rest of the day constantly fixing the hijab if it got 'out of place'. It was frustrating... I didn't want to care so much! And not to mention my prayers would get disturbed as I constantly thought of how many guys looked at me, or this and that. Then school began to be a real problem. Although I was shy and never had a slip-up of my morals, boys always bothered me, stalked me till my home even! It was really just disturbing. I eventually left school, and started home schooling instead. I was really depressed about staying home, as I would not be able to get out as often. But THIS is what changed my life, and I only know it now! I wanted to get closer to Allah, to get through my depressions, to just find peace.

By now I wore Abaya and Hijab everywhere. But that just didn't cut it for me. I still got the same attention. I did not want to sin, because I knew my gaze would wander if I got such attention. Soon enough, Allah gave me a solution. My sister introduced to me the Niqab, the miracle, my peace. It was as if I was invisible, like I would get my work done with zero disturbances. Finallyy!

To make such changes was Alhamdulillah very easy for me because I had 2 other sisters who went through the same phases as me. We were always together where ever we would go, and it was easy to be bold. People who knew us from before looked at us with respect, respect for our brave decision. I'm proud of myself and how much I have evolved! It all took time, but I finally got the peace I was looking for. Because no guy wants to bother the 'too good girl'. I mean, there was no fun in that right? Heck, I say that's just GREAT! This is a part of me now, my identity. Now that I feel firm in my faith, I'm ready to go back to America, In sha Allah, and be an inspiration to all my sisters in Islam! What better way is there to do Jihad, than to show the harsh disbelievers how much pride I have in my religion?

This piece of cloth sisters, changed my life! It made my faith strong in so many levels, it's just unexplainable! It's my protection, my reminder to be aware of my actions, and I won't doubt that this very well acts as a reminder to the brothers as well SubhanAllah!

Thanks for reading my story and please make Dua for me :) May Allah give us all courage and guide us unto the straight path.

INTERVIEW: "YOU WILL NEVER BE AS FREE AS AN ISLAMIC WOMAN"

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu,

When I initially thought of starting on interviewing Muslim women for the blog, I honestly never thought it would be this beneficial. Even recently, I received an email from a sister telling me that reading the interviews from the blog had really helped her, so Jazakallah khair to all those lovely sisters for their amazing interviews. May your words continue to inspire many more Muslims and non-Muslims!

That said, here's another lovely interview we had with sister Dhilnawaaz (I'm sorry for the delay in posting the interview sister. Jazakallah khair for your patience!)

Do also check out her blog Diary Of A Secret Muslimah

Tell us about how you found Islam

Well I live in a muslim community with 3 mosques within 5km radius of my house so I came into contact with muslims daily. I think what caught my attention was hijab, abayas and niqabs; there was just something about it I found so modest and beautiful especially women in niqab. Eventually I took an interest in Islam and started researching everything about it. I then realized that this is where I belong and I finally felt at peace with myself.

How old were you when you reverted to Islam?

I started taking Islam seriously and reverted at the age of 16, but did my research from around 14/15. I unfortunately have not yet taken my shahadah, but In sha Allah will soon.

What is the greatest challenge you've had to face after reverting?

I think it would be Ramzaan, reading namaz, wearing hijab and abaya and especially learning more about Islam without someone to teach me.

How would you say you have changed after accepting Islam?

I'd like to think that I've changed quite a lot. As before I reverted I was a model, someone who would pose in the most revealing outfits, I used to drink alcohol, go clubbing, occasionally do drugs and I also used to curse God quite a lot when I had problems or something bad happened to me. Now as a muslim, I can't stand any of that, I absolutely love wearing hijab and abaya, I admire muslim women and I put all my trust in my Creator and believe that when Allah (SWT) takes something from you, He is most definitely preparing you for something ten times better.

If there was one thing that you could tell someone who is thinking of reverting to Islam, what would it be?

I'd tell them that Islam isn't just a religion, it's a way of life. You have to be very sure before taking such a big step, do research so you know what you're getting yourself into and be prepared for something amazing. Your whole life will change.

A lot of people believe that Muslim women are oppressed and that they have no rights in Islam. What were your thoughts on this before becoming a Muslim?

Ironically, I had the exact same mindset. I looked down on muslimahs and saw them as inferior and property of their husbands. But you'll never really understand the status of a women in Islam until you make an effort to find out more.

“When she is a daughter, she opens a door of Jannah for her father. When she is a wife, she completes half of the deen of her husband. When she is a mother, Jannah lies under her feet - if everyone knew the true status of a Muslim women in Islam, even the men would want to bewomen" - (Shaykh Akram Nadawi)

How do you feel you've changed as a person after accepting Islam?

I think mentally and psychologically I've matured as I've learned that everything does happen for a reason, even if you cant see it at that moment.

Anything special you would like to address the Muslim youth of today?

Don't ever take Islam for granted. You will never understand how sad it makes me that I wasn't raised in a muslim home, that I couldn't start practicing this wonderful religion from an early age. Be proud of your religion.

What do you think about the Hijab and Niqab and how would you clear any misconceptions about it?

It probably sounds weird but I find niqabis radiantly beautiful. There's just something about them that I admire. As for hijab, I respect women who wear it full time as it takes a lot of dedication especially in the heat. It's sad that non muslims see us as oppressed when we wear our niqab and hijab. There's nothing oppressing about being modest.

You are new to Islam so you can relate to a lot of difficulties other reverts face. How do you deal with all the struggles?

Sabr. For now that's the only way I can deal with the struggles. I constantly make Dua for Allah (SWT) to grant me Sabr, because being a revert is very scary. Especially on your own.

The Quran is beautiful, but we always have that one verse which is especially special to our heart. What is yours?

I have not read the entire Quran yet but so far I actually have two.

“…But it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knows, and you know not.” [2:126]
“But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.” [8:30]

Any misconceptions about Islam that you would like to make clear to any non-Muslims reading this?

Please people, Islam is perfect don't always slander our religion because of what muslims do. Get the idea out of your head that people's bad actions and ways represent Islam. Do yourself a favor and research it. You won't be sorry.

Any specific Duaas you would like readers to make for you?

That Allah (SWT) guide me on Siraatul Mustaqeem and that I never go astray, because I know that I'll never go wrong if I have faith in my Creator.

Finally, a few words to round up on how it is to be a woman of Islam.

You wear your bikinis, mini skirts, tight fitting tops and pants because society wants you to. We wear our hijab & niqab because we want to please our creator. So who is really oppressed? You will never be as 'free' as an Islamic woman.

Note: If you would like to be interviewed for our blog, leave us an email on niqablovers@gmail.com and we'll get back to you, In Sha Allah. Sisters only.

INTERVIEW: FROM ONE SISTER TO ANOTHER

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu!

Alhamdulillah, here we have another lovely interview with so much of inspiration, particularly for the youth of today. May Allah makes everyone reading this benefit from it, In Sha Allah!

How would you describe yourself in a few words?

I'm Umm Abdillah, 16 years old. My Parents are from Morocco. I have a mother and sister who wear the Niqab. I'm busy with seeking knowledge about the Deen and memorizing the Quran.

Being a Muslimah is something that is terribly misinterpreted in the world today. How would you explain your life as a Muslim woman?

Firstly, I'm not oppressed. I'm Alhamdulilah very happy with my life as a Muslimah, seeking knowledge about Deen and wearing the Niqab for Allah. It's a big gift from Allah that He chose you to be a Muslim in a world full of Kufr and corruption. Living for status and wealth isn't life. We are created to worship Allah, and if you do that then you feel free- not when you do the opposite

How old were you when you started wearing the Niqab?

About 1 month after my 15th birthday, Alhamdulilah.

Any particular reason that inspired you to wear the Niqab?

Yes. I had contact with sisters who also were young and wore Niqab outside school. So I talked with them and they inspired me. So I decided to buy a Niqab and try to wea it, and Alhamdulilah that Friday I put it on and went to Salaat Jumu'a. A sister who wore Niqab before me also inspired me a lot. Because she was a revert and that's what made me feel ashamed of myself. Barakallahufeeha!

If someone approaches you asking why you wear the Niqab, how would you respond to them?

I'm convinced about the proofs that Niqab is obligatory. And even if it is Sunnah, you need that hasanaat on the Day of Judgment.

A lot of young Muslimahs nowadays delay wearing the Hijab because they believe that they can wear it once they get older. Any advise for them?

I want to say to them; ''Sisters fear Allah you can be dead earlier than you think. Wollahi if the sisters who died without wearing Hijab in their life could have one chance to live again for 10 minutes then Wollah they would cover themselves up from head to toe.
Sister don't let the day you'll die be the first day you'll be covered.

How different is it wearing the Niqab compared to wearing only the Hijab?

It's a big difference. With Niqab you feel that you're really covered. When you wear Niqab, you feel sooooo free, because you know Alhamdulilah now I have the correct hijab. And men can't stare at me. And with only hijab you know this is not what Allah wills. And you're scared to die in such a situation. A lot of people don't realize that only a headscarf and a long dress isn't Hijab. And with only Hijab you can still feel man gazing at you.

Allah says: ''This will be more conducive to their being recognized and not annoyed''

So when you wear the full hijab then men will not harm you.

What ways do you think the Muslim youth has been lead astray and how would you say is the best way to get the youth back to Islam?

Because of the phones, internet and television, the Ummah is lead astray. Because of the forbidden gaze, wasting time, talking to non-mahrams, music, men and woman chatting - wollahi they ruin each other- and looking with jealousy to sisters who uploads a beautiful picture of herself, and they lead brothers also away from the path of Allah. They don't realize that for every man who sees their picture, they bear the sins for that too. Internet is really the Fitnah of this time. It's just so sad. Instead of praying night prayer, they talk on Whatsapp with each other. Instead of reading Quran they talk the whole day with each other. Even in Ramadan. Then they say: "Well I learn a lot of the conversation with the sister.'' Not so much as when you read only 10 minutes Riyaa as- Saliheen. You learn a lot of wrong things from internet. So I really think that this is one of the reasons of the corruption of this time.
Ghair In shaa Allah, We have to do dawah, but Allah turns them back.

Tell us more about your blog

Eehhm, on my blog you can find Fatawa, pdf Books, Ahadith, and stories. It's also in Dutch because a lot of the people around me don't understand English very well.

You can find the blog here bintufulaan.wordpress.com

Parting words

I want to say to sister who wants to and is thinking about wearing Niqab:

Wearing Niqab isn't so hard as you think. When I wore, I thought is this it? THAT what Shaytaan always say to Muslim Woman - ''Niqab is like a mountain that you should drag?'' Na'am, it is hard but when Allah tests you, we will be tested, because "Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried?" [Quran 29: 2]

But know that when you succeed in the test, Allah will reward you for your sabr. In shaa Allah

Know that it is the Shariah of Allah, if all woman would not be able to cover their face it would not be a rule in Islam.

Jazakallah khair for the interview Ukhty. I pray that everyone reading it benefits from it as much as I did. Alhamdulillah!

You Are So Beautiful

This is just sad. Heart breaking.
My sister, look at you, you are so beautiful, yet you let the society bribe you. Wake up! Straighten up.
You are so beautiful no title in this world can fathom your beauty. Did you even know that?
You know actually, you are too beautiful for the world to see because Islam made you so.
Maan, you’re damn beautiful. So what makes you adhere to the calling of this world?
_____
I have come to talk about this issue because there’s another thing that has been viral again, this pageant about Muslim women.
I know a lot of you might bombard me with a lot of hate or so, but I need to address this, and Allah Azza Wa Jall knows best what my intentions are.
Are you this deluded by media?
Has the psychological results of advertisements of fair and lovely is “in” not enough, this mindset has placed such drastic effect on how our brothers and sisters see our fellow muslims from Africa, and do you know how much this breaks the hearts of these Muslims? How this contradicts the last words of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam? Is this not enough?
Do you really think that creating such pageant where Muslim women, our beautiful chaste muslim women, walking on the isle, seen and thoroughly being judged & “officially” criticized like that, as a woman empowerment?
Look, they walk and they are being judged by those people who will determine who will wear the crown! That is the truth! Astagfirullah!
What makes you think that comments and praises of mere people are key to women empowerment, what else can bring such empowerment to you other than Islam?
Because this brings honor? Really?
Have we ever heard the Sahabiah Radiyallahu Anhum walked in such way, with heels, embellished and beaded gowns, shining shimmering hijabs?
These women, they didn’t even had to wear a title for beauty for thousands of Muslim women to remember them, because Allah Azza Wa Jall talked about them in the Qur’an and has raised these women their statuses because they adhered to the commandments of Allah Azza Wa Jall, Indeed, such were the women that were described in Azhab.
Have you ever realized how wonderful it is to see such beautiful young ladies in hijab, simple and not attention-grabbing hijab. There’s so much peace on seeing that, wallahi.
I am not by any reason telling Muslim women to stop beautifying themselves, I’m just pointing out that you have to be moderate on it, do it in right places, in accordance to your belief.
O Queen, never try to fit in for you are made to reign. So be not a keen victim of your lusts and whims!
Did you know that putting a “fashion” and “standard” on hijab also discourages as much as it encourages Muslim women to wear hijab?
Yes, they wear it and they go want to understand it more, and they see these tutorials out with all these things on hijab and then depression comes because they can’t be like how they see these women online.
Sad. This is the sad reality.
If we really honor the hijab then we have to understand that the concept of hijab is to cover, conceal and protect, it was never to flaunt nor to showcase your beauty in the eyes of this world.
We are very keen on making ourselves beautiful for this world to praise and comment about us, but have we thought about Allah?
How He would address us on the day we would be standing in front of Him?
Are we this attached to this world, that we forget that indeed all these beauty titles, praises and compliments will come to an end and all that will matter will be his judgement?
So think about it, you do good and are fine in the eyes of this world, but how about Allah!? ASTAGFIRULLAH!
A lot of us advise and speak of istighfar when very few bring their worlds to life and do istighfar. - This is the reality.
Please before you go out or after you have read this, set aside the anger or hatred (for me) that my words might have brought you and just ask yourself,
Why do you need to put so much make up on when you go out?
Why do I have the need to put such bright colors on your lips?
Why do you put so many layers that sometimes the hijab looks like a flower vase already on top of your head? Is this the hijab?
Is this how you carry the ayah of hijab?
Please, let us all renew our intentions on why we are wearing the hijab.
Whenever we clothe ourselves, let us be guided with the fear of Allah.
My beautiful sister, do not try to fit in because its a trend nowadays to have butterfly or flower vase hijabs, you are a stranger to this world, and indeed glad tidings await you.
You know when you wear the hijab, you carry a verse from the Qur’an, so honor that, properly, cover accordingly.
Never try to fit in, because by Allah Azza Wa Jall, you will never fit in a world that you aren’t made for, Jannah awaits you, you were born to stand out,
so stand out embodying the wisdom and beauty of Islam!
_____
And I pray that Allah Azza Wa Jall gives us proper guidance to live accordingly to His commandments.
Please forgive me if I have cause anger and hatred in your hearts, but in a world like this, let love amongst the sisterhood of Islam flourish for indeed that is the only thing that will keep us on the path to Allah Azza Wa Jall, everyone needs a reminder, so please take the good and leave the bad on this, and at the end we pray that Allah Azza Wa Jall forgives us all.
Aamiin.

The Effect of Shyness upon Finding a Good Husband Oh Muslim Sister! – Rasheed Barbee

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
All praises belong to Allah may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon his family, companions and those who follow his guidance.
In an effort to find a suitable spouse some of our Muslim sisters often resort to impermissible, demeaning methods such as free-mixing with men via the internet, chat rooms, marriage websites, social networks, sending pictures and the like.
Unfortunately some of our sisters have been deceived into believing this to be the more effective technique for obtaining a spouse, removing from themselves the veil of shyness, modesty and dignity.
Oh my sister in Islam! Trust in Allah and follow the blessed methodology of Islam when choosing a mate.
Shaykh Salih Fawzan explains how Allah rewards the shy and modest woman with a good husband.
The Shaykh said…
Allah the Exalted said concerning the story of Musa,
And when he arrived at the watering (place) in Madyan, he found there a group of men watering (their flocks), and besides them he found two women who were keeping back (their flocks). He said: “What is the matter with you?” They said: “We cannot water (our flocks) until the shepherds take back (their flocks): and our father is a very old man.”
Until the statement of the Exalted:
فَجَاءَتْهُإِحْدَاهُمَاتَمْشِيعَلَىاسْتِحْيَاءٍقَالَتْإِنَّأَبِييَدْعُوكَلِيَجْزِيَكَأَجْرَمَاسَقَيْتَلَنَا
Afterwards one of the women came (back) to him, walking upon bashfulness. She said: “My father invites you that he may reward you for having watered (our flocks) for us.”
(Chapter 28: 23-25)
So the bashfulness of these two women prevented them from crowding with the men at the watering hole, rather they waited until a shepherd appeared until they were able to water their flock without crowding with the men.
And when their father sent one of them to Musa to request him to meet with their father; she came to Musa عليهالصلاةوالسلام, upon bashfulness.
The result was that Allah the Exalted chose her as a spouse for His Messenger, the one He spoke to directly, Musa عليهالصلاةوالسلام. This was the result of her holding firm to shyness and bashfulness and being far away from mixing with men.
As Allah the Exalted said:
الطَّيِّبَاتُلِلطَّيِّبِينَوَالطَّيِّبُونَلِلطَّيِّبَاتِ
“Women of purity are for men of purity, and men of purity are for women of purity”. (Chapter 24:26)
This story appears in the Noble Quran to be taken by the believing women as a righteous example until the Day of Judgment.

Woman Covering her Feet when Going Out – Shaykh Muhammad Al-Imaam & Shaykh Muhammad ‘Akoor

The Shaykh Muhammad Al-Imaam Mentioned within his book: Battle of the Hijaab (Translated and published by MTWS Publications):
It is a must that the clothing of the woman be a covering for all of her body. On the authority of ‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Umar, may Allaah be pleased with him, who said: Allaah’s Messenger said: “Whoever drags his garment out of ostentation then Allaah will not look at him.” Umm Salamah said: “O Messenger of Allaah! How should the women do with their trails (of their garments)?” He said: “Lower it a hand span.” She said: “Then their feet will be exposed.” He said: “Lower it an arms-length and do not do more than that.”[1]
The Hadeeth is clear that it is obligatory upon the woman to cover her feet when she goes out amongst strange men. The scholars have extracted from it that the obligation to cover the face take more precedence. This is because showing the face is a temptation greater than the temptation of showing the feet.[2]
Footnotes:
[1] Reported by An-Nasaa’ee Hadeeth number 5336 It has also come in the Hadeeth of Umm Salamah in An-Nasaa’ee Hadeeth number 5337
[2] Translator’s note: Foot fetishism, foot worship, or podophilia is a pronounced sexual interest in feet or shoes. It is the most common form of sexual preference for otherwise non-sexual objects or body parts. For a foot fetishist, points of attraction include the shape and size of a foot, toes, toenails, jewelry, treatments (i.e. pedicure), state of dress, odor, and sensory interaction. Question: Our, Shaykh; many women exit their homes without covering their feet. This is a Fitnah, specifically in America wherein many men have foot fetishes. Meaning, to look at the foot of a woman creates lust within them. So what is the ruling of a woman uncovering her feet outside of her home in front of strange men?
Answer: In front of strange men, all of the woman is ‘Awrah. It is obligatory upon her to cover the entirety of her body; including the hands and the feet, in order to be safe from Fitnah and sin.
Question: May Allaah bless you, so what is the description of this? Meaning, how does she cover her feet, or with what does she cover her feet?
Answer: (She is to wear) socks on the feet and gloves on the hands. By way of this, the covering of the extremities of her body is completed.

The Ruling on Nail Extensions (Fake Nails) - Shaykh Abdul-Azeez ibn Baaz

Question: What is the ruling on nail extensions, bearing in mind that I strive to never let any men see them.  And does that enter into the ruling of Al-Waasilah (i.e., using hair extensions) which has come within the Hadeeth?
Answer: Nail extensions have no basis and it is not permissible to use nail extensions. Rather, it is obligatory and the Sunnah to shorten and clip them at least  (every) forty nights. Anas, may Allaah be pleased with him, said:
“We were given a time period for trimming the mustache, clipping the nails, plucking the armpit hairs, and shaving the pubic hairs, that we should not leave this for more than forty nights.”
In another wording:
“The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) demarcated for us…”
Therefore, the man and the woman are both commanded to clip the nails at least (every) forty nights. So how can she have (long) nails? This is a Munkar, and has no basis.
